Our Story
Lazy Betty is the culmination of the Hsu family's, along with Chef Aaron Phillips, love for food and community. Chef Ron was instilled with this passion from their mother, Betty, who welcomed friends and family to her restaurant as if it were her home.
Chef Ron brings the experience he developed while working in kitchens all over the world, including his time as Creative Director at Le Bernardin, the world-renowned NYC restaurant that has garnered three Michelin stars and four stars from The New York Times. In Lazy Betty's open kitchen setting, he and Phillips curate an intimate experience where diners can watch their meal being prepared. The modern and innovative menu embodies the inspirations from Chef Ron's professional training, global travels and Atlanta's local community.
